The goal of my practice is to learn something, or as many things as possible, from every role, client, project and opportunity, and have a solved a problem through research, communication and smart, visual thinking.

At Pratt Institute I studied Communication Design. Upon receiving my degree I began WGBDesign and built a successful freelance career while also taking in-house design roles when it made sense.

In tandem with my design career I have developed my art practice and have been fortunate to have exhibited widely and with many reputable galleries and institutions. The detailed, meticulous, researched approach to my paintings and drawings is a reflection of my design work.

I believe that graphic design is a balancing act between art, commerce, information and language (and more), and I try to follow the advice of the late Tibor Kalman in both my life and work:

"Think like an artist.
Dress like an insurance salesman."
